Software:
MouseButtons.zip - a simple tool to test the response box from the HBM 2004-abstract. Extract the files and start MouseButtons.exe
GUI_for_ExportKP.exe - Graphical User Interface for the ExportKP-Tool for KeyPoint EMG-Software (KeyPoint is for example available from AlpineBiomed).
TrigGen.exe
- TriggerGenerator. Useful to generate trigger signals on the default
parallel port of your computer. You can use it to simulate a trigger
signal (e.g. from an MRT) for testing of triggered paradigms if you do
not want to rely on 'virtual triggers' (e.g. simulated triggers in
Presentation, Neurobehavioural Systems.
This program requires the Port I/O driver from Scientific Software Tools.
AnalyseWave.exe -
This program allows you to automatically find triggers on one channel and to manually determine the onset of a voice on the second channel of a wave-file.
The wave file should be 8 or 16 bit, stereo. Compressed files are not supported. Start the program and select file->load.
If the program can open the selected file type it will show two data tracks. Per channel one. The upper channel is the trigger channel.
The lower channel is the voice channel. In a further version of the program it will be possible to switch the two channels for the analysis...
for now, you must reverse the channels with an audio editor :-( Press the 'forward'-button to find the first trigger.
Select the 'play'-button and the program will start replaying the wave file, starting 1500ms after the trigger onset.
You can increase this time (deltaT) by pressing '+' or '-'. Every click will increase or decrease deltaT by the time step selected.
If you are happy with the onset of the replayed sequence add the timings to the table with the '>>'-button.
In the table you are free to change any entry - especially in the comments field you can enter the answer you have heard.
Please feel free to send me comments on the program - at least errors will be corrected as soon as possible.
IIAP.exe - is a program for feedback measurements. It triggers a stimulator via parallel port and acquires data from a measurement computing analog digital converter.
The results are displayed for the subject as feedback.
Screenshots will be displayed soon.
