2. Student-organized International Symposium of the DFG Research Training Group 1216 on “Intra- and Intercellular Transport
and Communication”

Marburg, Germany

September 21 - 23, 2011

Poster IITC Symposium

For the second time the students of the DFG Research Training Group 1216 organize the international symposium “Intra- and Intercellular Transport and Communication” in Marburg.

Our conference is addressed to graduate students, PhD students and other young researchers from diverse backgrounds, providing a platform for interdisciplinary discussions and exchange, as this is the basis for modern science. The DFG Research Training Group supports a broad field of biological and medical research. Therefore, we invite international speakers that are leading in different divisions of biology reaching from developmental and cell biology over to virology and genetics.

In addition, young researchers are encouraged to present their own work and discuss their results with the invited experts either by giving a talk or presenting a poster. Furthermore there will be time for small group discussions between students and speakers in informal settings.

Our meeting is organized by students for students and is free of charge for (PhD-) students. It will take place in the very nice and historic atmosphere in the old assembly hall of the University of Marburg.

We are looking forward to meet you in Marburg!
