In the systems biology project "Sulfosys" we have developed standard operation procedures (SOPs) which describe protocols for a lot of different methods like transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics and others for Sulfolobus solfataricus. Also a standard growth medium is proposed. The article containing all these methods is published open access and can be downloaded here.
